MaxClimb Aviation was created by a retired Air Force Master Sergeant who wanted to help military personnel convert their military aviation experience into an Airframe and Powerplant license so they can continue a career in the civilian aeronautical arena.
       Barry "Chunk" Cherney retired with 28 years of experience as an Engine Specialist, Hydraulic Specialist and Crew Chief. As he struggled with the process to get his A & P license, he wished there was someone available that could assist military personnel to achieve their goals.
        MaxClimb Aviation was developed to relieve the stress of acquiring the proper documentation and prepare applicants for the exams at a pace that would be comfortable to each individual person. This type of personal service, along with a proven training method, is what all applicants will receive.
